I’m an artist. The success of my creative strategy- in all disciplines- is the application of fundamentals, experience, and technique. Then it’s just a matter of choosing the right tools for the most impactful solution.
My jam is adaptability, the right look for the job. I start with understanding your vision, then mold it into your finished art. We create something entirely new, together, for your project.
Concept/execution, product/package development, branding/ID, pre-press, color management, launches and campaigns. I’m great with lots of software, but I’m a downright monster with the Adobe Big 3.
Digital and traditional. Books, children’s books, comics, concept art, political cartoons, magazines, album art, storyboarding, product design, surface pattern, greeting cards, and more.
Concept to market, or anything in between. From loose mockups to typeface design to Museum-level color correction, you decide where to go and I’ll help get you there.
You bet. Email via the contact page or DM through Instagram. If an original has sold or it’s a digital piece, archival prints are either available or can be custom ordered.
Not currently. When I do, you’d contact me with your idea, a deadline, and any other details you deem pertinent. Commissions begin at $500 and escalate based on scale and complexity.
Generally you can expect to spend what you would for a master tradesperson for your house. You can expect costs to accrue the less decisive or more fluid a project becomes. But I’m selfless and reasonable.
I’m big picture and also meticulous, a multi-tasker, a fixer. I’m pragmatic, clever, prolific, and good-natured. I’m shy until I’m not. I like everyone, I respect hard work, and I like to help people reach their goals.
Typically I have a home office where I do most of my design work, and a studio for the messier bits. Recently relocated, I’ve got an old barn I’m converting into a complete workspace. It’s a dream about to blossom.
On Instagram: @briandubina. It’s essentially a mix of portfolios, a sketchbook, and a place to offer tips to emerging artists. It’s a fast and fun vehicle, plus a great way for me to engage other creative folks.
That’s my best pal, Jack. He’s a Great Pyrenees/Boxer mix, always with me constantly, and the sweetest, most handsome dog ever. Who wouldn’t paint him all the time?
